WHERE WE BEGAN

MoveWell didn’t begin with a product.  It began with years of observing how bodies adapt, recover and thrive.

We’re Will and Hen — two Physiotherapists with over 30 years of combined experience in movement, rehabilitation and performance environments.

Over the years, we’ve worked with professional athletes, teams and high-performing individuals across the world.

Those years gave us deep insight into how the human body responds to load, stress and repetition, demonstrating a clear message:  Elite performance principles apply to everyone. 

But perhaps more importantly, they taught us something simple:  

Movement longevity isn’t built on intensity. It’s built on good movement  foundations. And the most effective movement foundation practices we repeatedly came back to?

Yoga and Pilates.

MoveWell was born from that realisation — and from the belief that the products supporting those practices should be as considered as the practice itself.

Our backgrounds exposed us to environments where physical capability mattered.

But what stood out wasn’t peak output — it was durability.  The individuals who moved well for the longest weren’t the ones chasing extremes. They were the ones who:

Will Howard

My background is in Physiotherapy and Applied Sports Science, with over 15 years spent in professional sport and international performance environments across the UK, New Zealand and Australia.  Career hightlights being - Head Physio roles in Professional Rugby & Football Teams,  International Hockey and Sailing Teams.

Those years weren’t just about performance outcomes — they were about understanding durability. That experience shaped how I think about wellbeing today: not in terms of short-term results, but long-term movement capacity.

Today, I bring that same obsession with long-term performance into business. As Co-Founder of MoveWell, I lead brand strategy, product development and growth — blending clinical credibility with design-led simplicity.

I’m fascinated by the intersection of physiology, creativity and how simple, well-made tools can elevate a consistent practice —transforming health one step at a time.

At MoveWell, I focus on building a brand that blends clinical credibility with intelligent design — creating products that quietly support better daily habits.

Outside of work, I live what we promote: time outdoors, steady effort, long days moving in different ways, in the main you’ll find me chasing waves, throwing shapes, or disappearing on a fully loaded bike.

Henry Abrahams

Hen’s journey began in Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning before training as a Physiotherapist — giving him a rare dual perspective: how to build performance, and how to rebuild it.

He has worked at the highest levels of UK and European sport, including:

• Academy Physiotherapist for Premiership Rugby (Team Bath)
• Physiotherapist for GB Rowing
• WWE professional wrestling
• Wimbledon & the LTA
• Jaco-Alula Pro Cycling Team
• Uno-X Pro Cycling Team

His philosophy is simple: Strong movement foundations unlock everything else.

The body thrives on integrated movement. Not isolated muscles. Not disconnected exercises. But coordinated, controlled, whole-body motion.

Yoga and Pilates align seamlessly with that philosophy — developing strength, control and mobility together, supported by breath and awareness.

As Co-Founder of MoveWell, Hen brings together deep clinical insight and a strong creative instinct to lead our Creative Direction and Sales strategy — ensuring the brand communicates with clarity, integrity and impact across every channel.

Outside work, you’ll find him on a road bike, mountain bike, or out trail running — happiest somewhere between a climb and a descent.

We launched MoveWell in 2022 to supply forward-thinking studios, clinics and wellness spaces who understood the value of quality and responsibility.
